CCTV Display Monitor is the single most important piece of a CCTV Equipment. A CCTV monitor differs from a television in several ways. Typically a CCTV monitor has BNC type connections and is made to run 24/7 for a long period of time.

The 2 main types are CRT and LCD. The CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) has been around forever and is slowly being phased out as the LCD (liquid crystal display) monitors come down in price and the resolution climbs. Some monitors have more than one input (A & B), this is helpful if you have multiple video sources and not enough room for multiple monitors.
